MUTUAL FUNDS ARE SUBJECT TO MARKET RISK, BUT YOU NEED TO DIVERSIFY YOUR PORTFOLIO.

I’ll explain, but now that I have your attention, let me talk about me for a bit.

Hi, I’m Aarti and I really wanted to have everything figured out by grade 12, because that’s what 12th graders do, I then assumed!

I got really good grades in a subject called business management and creativity was not a subject with grades, so I thought, okay let’s do that and maybe “manage a business creatively someday”. So I did that.

But, the natural progression of a degree in Business Management is an MBA, and I said, okay let’s do that and I specialized in marketing so that I could incline towards “creatively marketing products”, So I did that.

And one day I ended up interning at a Media House as a Client servicing intern and that just opened up a whole new world for me, so I went ahead a did a Post-graduate certification in Advertising.

And then life happened, after all that I ended up working in sales, selling mutual funds, and I said, okay let’s do that and “maybe I can sell mutual funds creatively?” Impossible!

So you see, it took me a full circle to get here, but I am here now and yes, I did sell mutual funds but I did decide to creatively diversify my portfolio and here you have it now.
